Hit the like button early on with the line "poor Loch Ness monster" because I immediately remembered the reviews of that book! ....Also I'm now worried that an author is going to set up Nessie with a Giant Squid.
Also still giggling at the series of books that tempted you to commit murder and mayhem! Several of those seem to have that affect on LOTS of people.
Same giggling with the milk up the nose title because that is SUCH a vivid description. Immediately reminded me of the time I had Sprite up the nose and the carbonation is not your friend in such a case. (And of course I can't remember what was so funny either.)
Oh, tell me about it. My danger is dying when my Mt. TBR falls on me in the middle of the night. (It's next to my bed, and towers over it. My mother, she worries.)
I had to stop keeping mine next to my bed just because the stack got too high and permanent, and I'd stop noticing it. (When it gets to endtable height and I start using it as such = bad sign.) Which defeated my entire purpose - to help me remember to read them! So of course all I did was migrate them to a desk, in slightly different piles. (eyeroll)
Well as long as I can manage to stack them I pretend it's one. It's kind of like playing Jenga. Another reason not to keep it on the floor next to my bed - in case I bump into it!
