I was a Detective Comics man myself mainly because of Superman but also the very un-super Batman. Anyone could be Batman you just had to want it enough.

Goodreads has the cover upside down! The way it's pictured here is actually the way it is when you are getting ready to open and read it. I'm guessing the mistake over there was made by some overzealous GR librarian who saw the cover's orientation and thought "This can't be right!"

Interesting fact. I turned it over to look at it - I like it better this way. It has pizazz. :)
