Agreed! I had to go into this one trying to remember it's target audience. For the age group it's a book I'd recommend. The relationship that evolved is a sweet one, the language isn't over the top or vulgar and as a parent all in all I'd recommend it to anyone just starting into the young adult age range. For me it was easy to figure out where the story was going but even with it's predictability I enjoyed it. I know my kids will enjoy having the images to help bring the story to life and the overall creepiness will keep them hooked.
