I really enjoyed 'Am I Normal Yet' and the voice of Evie felt authentic around the prevailing mental health issues and despite the theme, contained a lot of humour. Sounds as if Holly Bourne is realizing some of that early potential?
I agree. Evie still strikes me as the most authentic of the 3, although after how well Lottie was portrayed here I'm wobbling a bit. This one also contained much humour. I can't even remember if the second book did, that's how much of an impression it made on me! I would recommend you not reading the second book and going straight to this. It's not necessary. Bourne explains everything, anyway.
