Do you mean Lady Windermere's Fan? Chatterly is Lawrence, yeah?

But in any case, I'd go with Importance of Being Earnest. It's pure comedy and pure fun and has some of his best lines. Plus, Bunburying.

Yes, Bunburying! Earnest as a first sounds good.

Definitely The Importance of Being Earnest, and I haven't even read Lady Windermere's Fan.
A handbag! Yep, definitely Earnest.

I have to read The Importance of Being Earnest for my Brit Drama class this semester so if you read it, I would love to hear your thoughts.

Earnest is a hoot with many funny lines. Lady Windermere's Fan is very much a period piece and harder to relate to.
Importance of Being Earnest.

Ok, so I'm sort of getting the impression after a quick scan of your responses that it's really divided but maybe The Importance of Being Earnest is squeaking ahead of Lady Windermere's Fan by...(counting...) all the votes! ;)

Thanks everyone for your input. The Importance of Being Earnest it is!
