I know - comes in handy once in awhile when my husband tries to make a crack about how much I read. I can point to people here and say "look! I'm a rookie compared to these guys!". :)

"cheaper than therapy" and "cheaper/less than your [insert hobby or collection]" comes in handy with my husband.

Reading a lot never gets criticized here - however my mother has decided my knitting habit is "cheaper than therapy." (Also more fun.)

It's shallow of me, I know, but I really wanted to mention the Viking part twice. If I could jump into books, Shadow of Night would be the one I jumped into and I'd unashamedly jump that man and change the rating of that book. ;-)

Aw geez, thanks! I do love it here, but that's because of my BL friends, like you, who write such great stuff, and make me laugh and add to the leaning towers of books I want to read and contribute to such great conversations. :)

If not for you all, I'd be another faceless, silent, grumpy drone at some other site.

And yeah, MT likes to tell people how many books I've read so far this year and then people look at me like I'm a science experiment. :)
