The beginning was no problem for me at all because, home, but I'll admit to flagging a bit in the middle; when the bad guys arrived it got interesting again (doesn't it always?).

There's still a *bit* of slowness at the 50% mark (give or take), although ymmv, but yes, it does pick up and pretty dramatically, once the bad guys arrive.
