I loved the three investigators. I've got the whole set (minus one book I can't find) in a box in storage.
Oh, I hate that; knowing it's *somewhere* but not being able to lay hands on it.
I have a special fondness for vintage teen book series. I don't think I've ever seen this one, though.
If you ever come across one, you should definitely snap it up - it would be interesting to hear your perspective as a Nancy Drew reader. :)
As a kid, I just adored these, but I'm sure, reading with today's eyes, they are just as you've described!
They definitely don't hold up to maturity, but this was still a lot of fun to read; I'd definitely read more of them if I found them, and I'd encourage my nieces to read them if they showed any interest.
Some of them are better than others.
I liked these books too, but they were never as big a favorite as the Hardy Boys. Loved the clubhouse though
