OH NO! ::snort:: That is tragic because this series is SO. MUCH. BETTER! They aren't even in the same post code. You should definitely try this one if you see it on sale, or are in the mood for a lighter thriller series (the first one comes closer to cozy/traditional, but the books grow significantly into thrillers as the series progresses.)
