The only reason I continued this series was Oberon. The rest just gets worse. And the last book was absolutely awful. I got the impression the author just wasn't interested anymore.
I've got to admit I'm not all that eager to read the last book. This one just wraps most everything up so well, I'm tempted to call it quits here.
