That's ok, I liked a lot of questionable books as a teen. Like books by R. L. Stine...

I can't wait to see your review. Cory and I want to burn that book, spit on the ashes, use the ashes to make an effigy of Jack, and then stab that effigy in the balls. Then castrate it, just for good measure.

I loved R.L. Stine in middle school. Not Goosebumps because I was a little too old for them, but I had over 70 Fear Street books. One Christmas I was given a $100 gift certificate to Walden Books and they were having a buy two get one free sale on Fear Street books and I spent all of my money on them. I still have the books boxed up somewhere along with a ton of other cheesy teen books from the nineties.

I can't believe you made it all the way to Heaven in that series. I read book one and that was it for me. I just could not take any more. You are a brave brave soul.

The first book was the best, if it can be called such...I just read the second and third for giggles. The third was horrifyingly terrible.

Yeah, well, I'm pretty innocent-looking, but have you seen my 1-star reviews? *evil grins*

You just described my Baby Sitter's Club and Sweet valley Twins/High collection.

Did you read the specials where they were telling the Wakefields' history? Yeah, I had all of those. Ugh me.

I like SVT better than the cheese bonanza of SVH (the covers alone were absurdly bad) and Jessica was such a whiny little unicorn. I'm more partial to Christopher Pike vs RL Stine though. Sorry for the hijack :p

I didn't finish The Shade of the Moon. I couldn't ruin the series for myself. I loved the first three books (although I know a lot of people didn't like the third book) but this book would have.. (from the little I read) ruined the series for me because such a cute little kid growing up to be so horrible?
I am going to pretend the book doesn't exist :P

(I am writing another comment because that's how I roll)
I DNFed Poison Princess too but I did skim through it afterwards so I know it was one of the best decisions I ever made :P I expected so much from the book, the idea was so awesome and I got a stupid female lead and a stupid love interest and a stupid everything else.

I don't even know how you got to Heaven. I read Halo and called quits. It ruined Angels/Nephilim books for me (although I make the occasional exception do to hype).
