One of my friends loves Campion dearly...I read only one (The Case of the Late Pig? I think) and wasn't that overwhelmed but my friend told me that that's not one of the best of the series anyway so I think somewhen I'll pick up another.

The Case of the Late Pig is definitely not one of the best- it was my first one too, and I didn't like it that much. This one is better.
