I'm uber excited! You know a book's good when you already want to give it five stars and you have only read the introduction! I'm ever more excited because The Men From Porlock ties in with The Croning and that novel is definitely in my top five favorite books. :)

The Men From Porlock was fantastic! I didn't know it was related to The Croning.
I remember reading this collection and how much I enjoyed it. (It wasn't long ago.) I especially remember reading The Siphon. Oh. My. God. What a story! I can't wait to hear what you think of it. (If you don't mind my saying, your pictures seem to indicate that you are a very young man, but your taste in literature seems very mature.)
I'm 18, but I don't really care for all that gooey YA crap. It's disgusting, even though occasionally there will be a decent book. And there are very few pictures of me on my Facebook that have been taken in the last year or two. LOL

Oh, I see. Still, 18 seems too young to appreciate the finer works of horror like The Elementals. :)
I also signed a book for him. He's the first author I met whom I've given a small board book that I repurposed as an art book, and he asked me to sign it :D
He did this ask and answer on Reddit a few months ago and I felt sorry for the guy because a bunch of people kept asking about his eye. He's a good guy though. I messaged him on Facebook after I finished The Croning to tell him how in awe I was of him and that book and he messaged back, which I thought was awesome considering most writers wouldn't. :)
I ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT! I hope you do too! :)

But, yeah, meeting him was super awesome.
