I have a friend who believes in existential nihilism. We've locked horns multiple times about the meaning of life. My own views are complicated, but he has just decided he is right and nothing will ever change his view and he's living his life influenced by that way of thinking. Which is ok to an extent, but its a question that no one can answer currently so I've always been wary about planting my feet on one idea and proclaiming it to be the total truth its awfully limiting.

I like Nietzsche though for other reasons.
