This does sound interesting. In the book, how does it work to "wake up and find everyone murdered (including yourself)"? It sounds like an interesting premise.

Well, I guess it isn't a spoiler because it happens pretty much at the start of the book. All six crew members wake up in cloning vatsafter one of them managed to start the process before she died. Generally they seemed to be growing bodies all the time, just in case. Then it was just a matter of sending their mind maps to their bodies? Or something like that. Like I said, my mind does tend to wander when I'm tired and I might have missed the one or other piece of essential info (the alcoholic Christmas and New Year festivities probably played their part too.
