Lol, I've been waiting for the review since I saw the staring. And I though I had been hard on it over my boredom. Nice to feel a bit vindicated. Do the following books get any better?
I feel the novellas are better than the full length books. My Fair Concubine (book three or four of the full length books) was a slow book, but the MCs were better developed and the side characters (such as Li Bai Shen) were fun to read.
