I haven't read her books but your review makes me want to check them out. I loved creepy stuff when I was a young teen and these sound they would have been right up my alley.

One of her non-scary ones, A Gift of Magic. Down a Dark Hall was also awesome.

I don't think I've read A Gift of Magic. Down a Dark Hall scared the piss out of me when I was around 11. That was my favorite. I also really liked Summer of Fear.
