I've never had much luck with audio books - my mind always wonders and I end up not knowing what is going on in the story.

I listen while I drive, quilt and cross stitch/embroider, so I've gotten really attached to my audiobooks!

Last audiobook I tried, I fell asleep. If I'm doing arts and crafts, I usually listen to music.

I have an audio recommendation, if I'm not too far out of line?

BLACKWATER by Michael McDowell. It was originally a series of 6 books about one family. It's not horror, but I would call it a southern generational family sage with horrific aspects, and it's the best audiobook I've ever read. (It's about 34 hours long and I was STILL sad when it ended.)

(McDowell is the screenwriter behind Beetlejuice and The Nightmare Before Christmas.)

Not out of line and thank you for the recommendation! I'm a little nervous about horror, but man, your review makes this compilation/narration sound AMAZING!

I can't say enough good things about it, really. I'm hoping you'll give it a go. :)
In the meantime, I hope you enjoy A GRAVE TALENT.
