I love these Penguin covers so much. I am really considering buying print editions.

I went ahead & ordered The Flemish House from Abebooks. Am I correct that these can be read in any order - it looks like you haven't been reading them in any specific order. Does Simenon do that golden age thing where there are references to other "cases" during the course of the narrative?
