I need to get my act together and finally get around to Penzler's book ... before I end up reading all of these stories in other collections! :D

"Crimson Snow" is good -- of the three British Library Crime Classics Christmas collections, it's the strongest one so far IMHO.

I wish I had the Penzler book in print - I bought it for my kindle instead of just paying a little bit extra to have it on my physical bookshelves, and I imagine that it is wonderfully hefty.

The Penzler book is fab. And the size of the hardback is impressive...but makes it feel like a proper story book.
