Ooooh -- congratulations! I'm so, so happy for you!

And I can promise you I will NEVER ask you to *stop* posting puppy pictures. I might, however, quite conceivably ask you to share *more* puppy pictures.

What are you going to name him if he neither strikes you as Indie nor as Sherlock, Atticus or Oberon?

Congrats. Just remember one thing - you can NEVER share too many puppy pics. We'll always want more.

I'm really excited, but a little nervous, too - I haven't had a puppy in over a decade and they are a lot of work!

I'm disappointed that Hastings got nixed. Looking forward to the puppy pics though!

Me, too. But maybe the pup's looks, charm, and personality will match an "Arthur". ;)

Happy to hear you're so excited about adding a new companion to the family. Our niece and her hubby got a very sweet golden retriever puppy this past January, so I'm primed for all the adorable golden puppy pics you want to share. Congrats!

Congrats on the upcoming puppy and the onslaught of cuteness that will come with him/her. :D Totally looking forward to the puppy pictures and debunking the mythological puppy picture threshold. :)

How exciting! BTW, did you consider Watson as a name? I'm partial to that after reading Cat Out of Hell, in which a dog named Watson steals the show!

I did. Also rejected by the hubs.
