Is there a map graphic? Not that I think that's either good or bad, it's just that I'm now expectant that when there's a book about a big journey and traveling is a big deal, there will be A Map. I'm kinda disappointed if there isn't one. (I think I'm a map junkie.)

There is a map, although it is tiny on the PW.

I like Marillier, but am not a fan of this series. I think the main problem is that I dislike the main character a lot. Will probably still read The Caller at some point, eventually.

I understand - she isn't my favorite, although she has grown on me substantially. I love Flint, though.
