I marked it a 3* however I listened whilst travelling and my reviews go to pot when I am away. Same combo though, with Simon Vance reading. Of the two flisters who have read #2 they both marked it 4*
However - looking through my scruffy notebook I haven't implored myself to get to #3 asap - even though the hardback is on the shelves.
I managed to get #3 on sale and bought the audio book with $10 listener credit I got on the 5th. The 2nd one is just under $10. I can't afford my book habit. :(

I read it before I tried it on audio and although I really like Vance in general, I couldn't handle his super-squeaky Tilla voice. I think it's just that I already had voices for the characters in my head, and Vance's voices clashed. BTW, I think #2 is even more enjoyable than #1...
