I have my Associates in Culinary Arts, plus the Pastry Chef Certificate, I have been reading cookbooks since I was like 5, owned my own cupcake business in Houston AND twice was my mom's assistant when she owned her catering and cake companies (a bit of my background there) - This is a book that I wish I had a few years ago. Some of the stuff I already knew, but things that were different/unique (like the presents on the front cover) would have been something I would have enjoyed putting on my menu (and may end up on one of mine soon).

Very impressive! I'm pretty good at cooking and even baking, but don't have any qualifications apart from experience.
Thank you, but my qualifications don't make me any better than anyone else :p I had experience long before I decided to go to school with it. It was fun to cook with my mom when I was younger and, in all honesty, I think that was more awesome than the school stuff :)

It amazing what you can learn by making every possible mistake while you're young.
