Really liking it (almost finished) and looking forward to binge watching the tv show (I've seen the first 2 episodes but was worried about spoilers).

I read the books but I don't remember exactly the ending of every book. So I am not sure about how much of the book the first season covers. You were right about stopping it in avoiding spoilers.

I am obsessed with Matthew Goode and watch everything he is in. He made the perfect Matthew Clairmont! The book is always better and this is no different but as there was a significant time gap between my reading of the book and watching the show there were fewer comparisons and I enjoyed it.

This is good to know! I'm not sure if I should read the sequels before watching (or if I have the patience for that).
