Sometimes these books that we loved as kids just don't do well with today's kids. I loved reading aloud to my kids. I was hoping my kids wouldn't grow out of it, but they did. :(

I loved this book in school. In particular a scene about a vacuum sealed room is something that always comes to mind. I made a diorama in school for my project conn3cted to this. I still have it.
