I love his writing too. I really enjoyed Shipbreaker. I also have Tool somewhere. I have to find it so I can read that one next. :)

The only one of his I've read was The Alchemist and The Executioness, but I did really enjoy it. I do tend to avoid YA genre though. What makes this one YA? Just the age of the protagonist?

I think it's mostly the age of the protagonist. The author also writes adult books.
