I am baffled by this cover. "Holiday Vermont Series"? I'm a lifelong Vermonter. Do they not know Vermont is a landlocked state? Yeah, we have some big lakes, but nothing that requires a friggin' lighthouse.
I'll be sure to mention that in my review. I'm so used to inaccurate covers that I barely pay attention anymore. The art dept who did the cover prob never even thought of what you've pointed out as a person who's actually lived in Vermont. I'd bet the cover doesn't even have ANY connection to the story besides someone thinking it was nice art. And authors who work with a publisher all say they don't have any say over cover art so inaccurate covers keeps on happening. :(
