Thanks for the heads up and an interesting review. Faulks is one of my favourite authors and though there are inevitably some books which rank higher than others on my personal list, he rarely fails to impress. He seems to find especially fertile territory when France is the backdrop. So, I shall await the launch of the latest and put it on my list to Santa!

Can I also recommend William Boyd...Love is Blind. It is due for release in September and is right at the top of my fav books this year
