I liked this a tiny bit more than you, still...tempted to steal 95% of this for my own post about it ;)

Hi IR I was disappointing to me as Galbraith/Rowling had said Career of Evil was her favourite Strike in the series and therefore if you have a likeable/winning formula it seems reasonable to assume that the next book in the series will have a similar feel/theme. Her writing is so good it is a shame to waste on a long story with, to me anyway, a poor plot. Having said all that the reviews on Amazon were very positive and so an adoring fan base must find it good....I beg to differ :)

It was too long and meandering to rate 5 stars, but was an enjoyable read (for a long, snowed in weekend).
