This is definitely an adult read, but I think that it could facilitate some great discussions to have with younger generations.

It fleshed out the characters and occurrences of some of the Old Testament accounts for me.

I thought that it was, even with the uncomfortable aspects of those opposing God and Israel, perhaps partly because with the state of the world right now it is so comforting to know that the Lord is and always will be sovereign.

I started a YouVersion Bible reading plan in January but did not keep up with it -- might need to start again.

There are lots of plans to choose from there...maybe try a 10-day one to start with! :-)
