I'm getting really into audiobooks since I've been listening to Juliet Stevenson narrating North and South, so I must try this guy. Is there any particular one you'd both recommend?
I cede the floor to Jennifer on the audio books (though I'm taking it one of her recommendations would be Jekyll and Hyde -- for which I'd actually have an alternative rec in the version read by Christopher Lee).
I will note, though, that Richard Armitage is Mr. Thornton in the screen adaptation of "North and South" ... and the adaptation is so much better for that reason alone. (Though I do think it's great for a number of other reasons as well.)
I definitely recommend this book and also he does a great job with the Georgette Heyer novels he narrates. I mean, I've only listened to one--Venetia. It's abridged, though.

I'm going to start this book soon:
