Aye, this books is hyped to be a big deal. But I've already read about teen Riders of the Apocalypse. (Jackie Morse Kessler's quartet of books. I read and enjoyed the first two, but the third went in a weird direction, and I didn't try the fourth.) Also, I don't enjoy reading about the military. I'll give the book a read, but not high on my wishlist.
I have to check those books.
yeah, on Gr's most reviews are positive ones, but what I read was just a big bore.
I am not crazy about military stuff either, but I thought that since this was YA that it wouldn't be a big deal, and from what I read it wasn't, because Gideon is telling what has happened so far in his life in retrospective.
I really liked her Under The Never Sky trilogy, but I don't see how this is going to work out.
