Sounds like the author has watched Empire Records one too many times :/ Who talks like that? Very weird. I've been wanting to read this so bad since I saw the cover and the title so you weren't the only one that was blinded by them. I think I'll skip it.
I actually love a good New Adult Romance books. I think Coleen Hoover's Hopeless and Katja Millay's The Sea of Tranquility are two of my favorites. If you want to read some good ones then you should try those.
I know! It was so strange :/
I kept hoping that this would get back on track, but it just didn't, and now i'm tired, and cranky because i haven't read a good book in...the time that i wasted with this thing!
I'll have to edit my review o_O i had forgotten about The sea of Tranquility!
I liked that one!! :)
Thanks for the recommendation, Jamie. I'll have to try Coleen Hoover's books one of these days.
You're welcome. I would be cranky too, especially after you end up reading the whole book. I prefer a book just being bad right off the bat so I can move on but the ones that you're not quite sure of and stick with only to wish you had that time back really gets me. Hopefully you'll find a really good one soon :)
I'm a pessimist...unless it comes to books. In that case, i keep hoping for the best, lol, so i keep turning the pages...
I have, thank you. I'm re-reading Marissa Meyer's Scarlet in order to finally read Cress :)
