That's such a bummer. This looked like it could be fun, but I hate meanness in characters. I think I have the first book in this series, so hopefully it's better.

I read the first and liked it much more, the hero and heroine hate/love worked better. After getting glimpses of Max and Aurelia in the first I was ready to be the biggest proponent for this one but like I said, they were just too mean and things didn't get resolved until the very, very, bitter end :(
