Oh, I am so sorry to hear this. For however much he was able, thanks to his family, to maintain his dignity to the last -- and have his family around him --, I don't even want to have to imagine the heartbreak all of you had to go through. You mom probably most of all (62 years?! That is amazing!!), but really, of course, all of you. So, sending comforting vibes, virtual hugs, the lot. (Also, obviously just liking in support.) Also, whatever it takes to make the heat go away -- things just seem to be piling up. (Rain? Refrigerators? Giant ice cubes?) :((

Thank you.

The heat has lessened somewhat - if mid to upper 80s is considered lessened. lol

I was so sad to hear about your dad, and so soon after we were chatting about your going back to visit.
I LOVE that picture of him on the tractor though. I also love that you all respected his wishes, though I imagine it was difficult to do. *HUGS*

Thank you, Char. Ikr. It was a shock to be sure. I mean, we knew he wasn't going to get better, that things were going to be on a decline, but we weren't expecting a sudden drop over the cliff edge.
He restored all 3 of our tractors and sold the 806 several years ago, but the 560 is special. We considered it dad's tractor. I'm hoping mom never sells it.
