Money is money, but night shift sucks ass. Hopefully he'll be back on 2nd Jan 2nd, like they originally planned. Or he'd even take 12 hr days like he did before he went back to 2nd. To be honest, the company has no idea what they are doing. The new plant manager is completely clueless and management as a whole sucks. But what ya gonna do? Other than look for a new job, which he is doing. In the meantime, we're back to that whole money coming in thing.
