I find the premise very appealing, enough so that I've added it to my maybe list. Because I have so many books, I usually don't like to spend over five bucks for any new-to-me author, so it's hard to say if I will ever pick it up.
Well, around Christmas it was selling for 0.99 at Amazon, I don't know how much it is today. I'm sure most people loved this, my two co-bloggers most certainly did, I think I'm just in a different mood all together, and I can't stand certain things. You might love it. Please let me know! The premise, as you say, was absolutely fantastic.
I'm actually reading this book right now and I have to admit I am loving it, but I have to admit if I were of a different mindset than I seem to be in I could see where i might feel differently towards this story. The irony will be if you and I read book 2 and you love it and I'm not feeling the same. Admit it we'll be able to laugh our asses off about that.
I love you girl, and a little more for that statement! Books are magical places, they reach different parts of our hearts. That's why it is so good that there are SO MANY OF THEM AROUND! lol
Exactly, now if you read a Greg Iles book and don't like it, I might have to consider if there isn't something deficit in your make up...not, I'm sure there are people who don't like his books as well. I just have a harder time understanding it. I'd rather have someone tell me their honest opinion of a book and maybe even have an interesting discussion about why our opinions differ than to find out they were 'afraid of how I might react so they didn't tell me how they really felt about the book' that just make me sad.
