A day late and a dollar short, but I applaud them for trying. I think this has been the biggest backlash they received from the debacle. Oddly, they will just turn around slam a 2-day notice on you.
And just to put it out there... I don't think they are sorry at all about how it was handled. I think they're sorry users got pissed over it and left

Absolute truth. Someone likened it to them trying to kill mosquitoes with a shotgun, not realizing how far and wide the blast would go. But regardless, they were still aiming to swat some pesky members.
It's too late for a lot of users like yourself. What's the point? They openly lied about not being able to get content back, even when people called them out on their backups.

I don't believe or trust them anymore, they backpedal because we made a lot of noise but that's it. They don't really care about their users anymore they showed to us by announcing this two weeks after the shit storm and then not giving a site wide announcement.
