Most are like some kind of comeuppance. You'd need some brilliant cast to hold it up if the CGI couldn't prop the flaky, clichéd arguments good. Know the ultimate measure of the bombing? I hadn't even known most of these had already been shown at theatres.
I did not catch the Hundred! Either one, actually. :(
Many of these slipped passed me too.
Yeah, it's a bad interface, especially if you're on anything other than a desktop.
The Host was kind of adorable, but only because it was so silly. I had a good time not really watching it on a Sunday afternoon. So many serious voiceovers!
That's the one I got dragged to see. It was entertaining but pretty predictable. I kept trying to imagine which Harry Potter characters the various characters started life as.
Haha, pretty much. The second one is maybe better, because it's got Nathan Fillion and Giles from Buffy. But it doesn't have Rosario Dawson, so. I have a pretty high tolerance for shitty movies for kids because my kids have terrible taste. Percy Jackson is worlds better than any Pokemon or Barbie movie ever made.
Omigod, me too! I mean, I've seen them and they are terrible! I have a weird obsession with how terrible Eragon is, and how amazingly hungover Jeremy Irons is in that movie.
Nicole Kidman's overly botoxed face doesn't even move in The Golden Compass - although I loved the CGI of Iorek Byrnison. And Eragon is just terrible - the kid who plays Eragon reminds me of James Vanderbeek from Dawson's Creek, so I always picture him making ridiculous faces.
Don't hate me for thinking Logan Lerman is adorable as Percy Jackson. Which reminds me - didja ever see Hoot, based on a book by Carl Hiassen?
Holes - the movie - is outstanding. It is almost as good as the book.
I've read the Golden Compass was protested against by religious people, and that was why they didn't continue it. I liked that movie.
Eragon I haven't seen. Tried to read the book, but at around page 80 I was so bored, I gave up.
I have hope for The 100 as a show. The Vampire Diaries books I wouldn't read. The show is one of my favourites.
Have you seen Bitten? I stopped watching. I just couldn't get into it.
Fillion is in the second Jackson movie? I think the lead is totally adorable in the Percy Jackson movies; no hating required. My son's been on me to keep reading, which I'll probably do someday. They're cute books.
I never did see Hoot, but my son was just reading those books, so I should watch that with him.
I think the movie of Golden Compass altogether watered down the source material. I did like Seraphina Pekkala (I may be misspelling) and Ioric Byrneson, but I can't remember much else about the movie. I didn't hate it, but I also don't remember it.
Bitten's the werewolf show? No, I haven't. I don't have cable so sometimes following shows can be a pain in the ass. I just wait for them to come to DVD.
It's trying to be adult like True Blood, with sex and gore, but totally misses the mark. The characters are not likeable at all. Teen Wolf is a much better werewolf show, and it doesn't need random sex scenes.
They made a movie of The Host? Wow, that didn't get much ad time (that I can recall, anyway).

They also missed The Golden Compass, Eragon and The Seeker - all of which I have seen.

I just thought of another one - Alex Rider. That had so much potential to be a hugely entertaining franchise.
