They usually piss me off (because what kind of b*tch keeps a secret like that?!), but this one ducked that issue by having the secret baby's mama be dead at the start of the story, and thus beyond the reader's judgment.

I have several of her pirate books in my TBR, plus one that I read but never got around to reviewing. I only bought the rest of those books because the one I read, Sea Change, was really good - otherwise, the covers of most of them would have scared me off. Some of them are "clueless self-published author" bad, which is terrible considering they're not self-published.

I'm tempted to get this one, although I should probably read all the others still in my TBR first, lol.

I need move this up the pile!
