Right?! Milan's emotional writing gets me every time. Saving her Carhart series for a rainy weekend.
I read that series. It's good, but her newer stuff is much, *much* better: more polished, more tightly plotted, more character development, more total awesomeness.
I have wanted to dive into the Milan pool, but didn't know where to start. She is a favorite among HR fans, and that kind of love frightens me because I recoil at the sight/words of fan girls. Maybe I will sneak into the Milan world with this book.
This is where I'd recommend starting, and where I started myself. I love this book.
