Yeah, she can be hit or miss for me, too -- some of her sex is a little over-the-top for mainstream contemporary, IMO -- but I liked this one a lot. Plus it's free right now at Amazon, so you can't beat that.

By the way, I downloaded this but I haven't read it. (I got a LOT of books from the library.) But I'm definitely going to check this out. I've heard good things about Victoria Dahl's books, and I've read one or two of her freebies. I'm so happy when I find Romance or Chick Lit that's feminist. As sad as this sounds, that seems like such a rarity, at least for me. So, yeah, thanks, definitely going to read it and post my own thoughts on it.
