As usual, nothing I've ever read or that sounds like my kind of thing. How does a series get nominated? Shanna Lauffey's Time Shifters series should win something like this.

Here's the language from the Worldcon Constitution:

3.3.5: Best Series. A multi-installment science fiction or fantasy story,
unified by elements such as plot, characters, setting, and
presentation, appearing in at least three (3) installments consisting in
total of at least 240,000 words by the close of the previous calendar
year, at least one (1) installment of which was published in the
previous calendar year, and which has not previously won under
3.3.5.

3.3.5.1: Previous losing finalists in the Best Series category shall be
eligible only upon the publication of at least two (2) additional
installments consisting in total of at least 240,000 words after they
qualified for their last appearance on the final ballot and by the close
of the previous calendar year.
But how do they get nominated?

Members of the current and last year's Worldcons vote in a nominating round, which is 5 fill-in-the-blank entries for each category. The top 6 eligible (meet the definition in the constitution) works for each category make the final ballot. The nomination ballot is not ranked, everything you put on it is equally weighted. You can be either a supporting or attending member, as long as you purchased a membership before the end of the previous calendar year.

Or the short version: By the end of December, spend €40, then nominate and hope enough other people also vote for it.
I'm tempted. I'd like to see some of the really good books I read get on the ballot! Where do I sign up?
Thank you. :)
