Here's my big question. How do you find people to give you honest feedback on your writing? Especially when you're just a reviewer?

THAT is a good question. Do reviewers review other reviewer's reviews? (Ha! Tongue twister!)

I'm guessing they vote with their feet, and the popular ones have a lot of "likes" and followers, just like writers. Unfortunately for me, it seems that the more successful reviewers are, the less likely they are to give an indie the time of day :(

:-) I don't really know that a reviewer would give the feedback you want since we all have different styles. You're right in that a good reviewer will also be popular. Unfortunately, it's not easy to ask readers why they prefer one person's reviews over another's. I've been able to get some feedback, but it's too generic to be helpful. More along the lines of "try to write more like so and so". Ok - thanks - not.
I'm sorry it's hard to get reviews as an indie. With all of the crap happening online, it's like a crazy few are ruining it for everybody else. Hopefully this will insanity will go away soon, and life will get back to normal.

AMEN to that :)

I personally like reviews that use humor. And snark. Everybody loves snark, LOL.
