I feel like I've heard of this movie but I can't remember if I watched it. Your review is intriguing and I think I'll be checking this book out. I feel really bad though...I also feel I should know Graham Greene - the name rings a bell - but I sure can't place him. Anyway, great review and thanks for piquing my interest.

The Quiet American (Vietnam era) might be his most famous book. They made a couple of movies out of that book. Our Man in Havana might ring some bells as well. Hollywood has mined Greene's works excessively for movie material.

Actually those I've never heard of. Kinda weird. If the way this book sounds is anything like his other works, I can see why Hollywood would like him.
