I've read several books by both Aaron Elkins and Lyn Hamilton, though It's been ages since I picked up a Hamilton mystery. I don't remember why I stopped reading her. Thanks for reminding me, and I hope you enjoy "The Orkney Scroll".
I finished last night and enjoyed it - I'm never quite bowled over by the mystery so much but what I really enjoy is learning about the antiques Lara sells in her shop or picks up for her clients. Also, her work (and sleuthing!) takes her to beautiful locations and my travel-loving heart has some vicarious fun that way :)
The Orkney Scroll is the next-to-last book in the series; hopefully I can work that last one into BL-opoly, along with a couple of the Elkins mysteries - I have the first 10 books in the Gideon Oliver mysteries and I've completed half of them so far.
