"Even in the last thirty minutes of the audiobook, most of that time was spent on the last two days in the life of the actor who died at the beginning of the book and who was, for some reason, the lynchpin connecting most of the characters."
And he wasn't even a likable character. It just made no sense for the story to revolve around him in the first place, but it had to be that way, at least don't make him boring and common.
