I am so sorry. This does sound like an absolute nightmare. My kids are still home but probably not for too many more years now. We get the bug to sell our house of 20 years and move near a beach or somewhere in the boonies but then stories like these terrify me into tossing that idea out the window. Maybe I'll just save myself the grief and save up for a new kitchen and sunroom and stay put and take day trips to the beach instead. I hope you get house #2 sold soon.

I just wished we would have had a realtor that was decent, I think that would have had this transition much better. People hear our story and laugh and our friends/family see house #2 and don't even know why we chose it as it was so small. I lived and learned, I hope someone learns from my mistakes, I do love house #3.
