That's awesome! Thanks for sharing your pics!
That Zoltar machine makes me think of Stephen King's The Dead Zone.

We saw Zoltar in Chinatown and I had “a moment.” I ran across the street as I had to see him. I haven’t read that book yet so I’ll have to look it up but Zoltar reminded me of the movie Big and watching with my kids.

Big is what comes to mind for me too, whenever I see a Zoltar machine. :)
Looks (and sounds) like you had a fabulous weekend!

We had an amazing time. It felt good to get away and forget about things at home.
Sometimes you just need a break -- and California is just about the best place to go for just that. :)

Great place to visit but I would never want to live there. Great place to people watch too. We definitely needed to get away.
I loved living there. :) But it's also a great place just to visit -- plenty of things to do and places to see for a change of pace.

I totally agree with you there was plenty to do. I guess you would get used to the traffic and the expensive way of life. I liked the diversity ever where you looked.
Diversity is definitely one of California's strong suits! :)

Looks like a really lovely weekend! Great pictures - you'd have never gotten me out of that forest though. :)

Thanks for sharing!

Funny thing, my husband is the one who wanted to go the forest. When he told me about it, I told him I didn't want to spend all day there, "let's just spend an hour" but once we got there and went inside it, I didn't want to leave :) So, I understand how you feel.
